Indian Stone Steps

Opt for Indian Stone Steps in your garden or patio for stylish landscaping and practical benefits.

Durable and strong, these natural stone steps can withstand plenty of heavy foot traffic and rough weather. Plus, Indian Stone is naturally porous, making it slip-resistant, ideal for steps used by young children, elderly people, or simply by someone carrying heavy bags.

Indian Stone makes for wonderfully eco-friendly garden steps, as the slabs are naturally sourced, resulting in far fewer carbon emissions than man-made paving slabs.

In addition to the practical benefits, Indian Stone is truly beautiful, and our Indian Stone Bullnose Steps are available in stunning colours such as Raj green and Kandla grey. Introduce Indian Stone Steps to your outdoor space for a robust, sustainable, and elegant option.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are Indian Stone Steps?

Indian Stone Steps are high-quality steps made from Indian Stone, which, thanks to India’s varied geology, is available in a number of types and colours. They are known for their durability, attractiveness, and versatility, featuring a distinct bullnose edge and a sand-blasted surface.

Why should I choose Indian Stone Steps?

Indian Stone Steps offer a perfect blend of functional design and aesthetic appeal. The steps are crafted with a bullnose edge and sand-blasted surface, ensuring safety and comfort. Additionally, they come in a range of colours, including Raj green, Kandla grey, and Rippon sandstone, catering to many different tastes and design needs.

What does a bullnose edge on the Indian Stone Steps mean?

A bullnose edge refers to the smooth, rounded finish on the edge of the Indian Stone Steps. This design not only adds to the visual appeal of the steps but also reduces the risk of slips and falls, which are more prevalent with sharp-edged steps.

What is the texture of the Indian Stone Steps?

The Indian Stone Steps have a sand-blasted surface. This means the surface has been treated with high-speed blasts of sand, resulting in a rough texture that enhances grip and makes the steps safe for use in all weather conditions.

What colours are available for the Indian Stone Steps?

Our Indian Stone Steps are available in three different colours: the earthy Raj Green sandstone, the sophisticated Kandla Grey sandstone, and the vibrant Rippon sandstone.

Are Indian Stone Steps environmentally friendly?

Yes, Indian Stone Steps are considered a sustainable choice as Indian sandstone is a natural, renewable resource. Its extraction and processing have a lower environmental impact compared to other building materials.
