Paving sealants create a barrier, protecting the natural stone against colour fade, oil, grime and dirt. Furthermore, the right pavement sealant can also make your patio or driveway much easier to maintain, meaning there’s less work for you in the long-run.
Natural stone paving (such as sandstone or limestone) is absorbent and contains a series of tiny pores – and by sealing these pores, you can prevent moss and weed build-up. The vast majority of paving can be treated with any water, solvent, acrylic or polyurethane type of sealer – but it’s really important to choose the right one.
