Deliveries

Key Information 

  • Maximum pallet weight – 1000kgs

All our packs on the website are picked to be less than 1000kg however if we are delivering on our own vehicles, the maximum weight may exceed this.

  • Deliveries are free to most of the mainland England on orders for retail over £750 + VAT however some postcodes will incur a surcharge depending on location. The table below states all the surcharges so please ensure you check this before placing the order. The system will also recalculate this for you at checkout. For orders less than £750 + VAT, delivery charges will apply that will be calculated at checkout.
  • Our deliveries on an economy basis which is 2-4 working days. This does not include bank holiday deliveries. Transport however will contact you to give you an accurate delivery date. You can contact the office at any time for an ETA on your order if a more specific timeslot is needed.

 

Order Tracking

We offer an online tracking system for your convenience. This system allows you to monitor the status of your order and provides complete peace of mind. Your order confirmation email will include detailed instructions on utilising this feature.

Delivery Slot Confirmation

You will receive a contact a day from our transport team before the delivery date to arrange and confirm your delivery slot. It’s crucial that you respond to this communication promptly. Otherwise, your delivery might not occur, and additional charges may apply.

Delivery Timing & Method

Our standard delivery window is between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. We strive to execute deliveries using our fleet of 6-wheeler/articulated vehicles equipped with detachable forklifts for offloading. Nonetheless, at our discretion and particularly for long-distance deliveries, we may employ a palletised delivery network to ensure timely delivery from the point of order.

Curb side Delivery Protocol

The transportation fee you pay covers a curb side delivery. Our team will try to place the pallet near your property as soon as possible, but this remains at the driver’s discretion. This might be feasible if a level and solid area are available for the pump truck to place the goods. However, if the surface is uneven or covered in aggregate (gravel/chippings), the pump truck may be unable to traverse it and will leave your goods in the nearest suitable area which will be decided by the carrier.

Requirement for Signature on Delivery

Please ensure someone can sign for your paving on the scheduled delivery day. This is to verify that the goods have been inspected and acknowledged as delivered and received by you. Any damages must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. If you would like to have the product offloaded on site without you being there, this may be organised with your permission. This will be done solely on your agreement. Another service offered is strictly between you and the haulier and is not part of our contact between the customer and the company.

Delivery Requests & Access Restrictions

While we do our best to relay any requests for a call one hour before delivery, please note that this cannot be guaranteed, and we cannot be held responsible for any losses arising from this or from someone not being available to accept the delivery. Please confirm there are no access restrictions to your property at the time of order.

Delivery Guidelines and Protocols

Our delivery fleet consists of vehicles up to 18-tonne articulated lorries. Should there be any access issues that might impede the safe and successful delivery of your order, please inform us when placing your order. We are committed to finding alternative solutions whenever possible, although this may delay delivery.

Our company will not incur additional costs due to undisclosed access restrictions at the delivery address. It is essential to confirm the location’s accessibility before finalising your order. If no one is available to accept and sign for the goods upon delivery, a re-delivery fee will be charged for rescheduling the delivery.

While we strive to deliver orders on the agreed-upon date, please understand that fluctuations in stock levels and high-traffic transport schedules can sometimes lead to extended lead times. We appreciate your patience and understanding in such scenarios.

Our team will maintain open lines of communication throughout the process. Should an item be out of stock at the time of your order, we will promptly notify you. The decision to use our fleet or a third-party carrier to deliver your order is made based on delivery timelines and geographical distance.

Our customer service team is available via office and email for any queries or discussions regarding our products or delivery process. We commit to providing regular updates and notifications regarding your order status.

Delivery Times

Unless otherwise stated, we aim to deliver all our products within four days unless in a back-order circumstances.

If a product is not in stock at the time of order, delivery can take up to however many working days are specified on the product on the time of ordering. Upon placing your order, you will be promptly informed of any such delay, and we will offer either a full refund or an estimated delivery timeline, according to your preference.
