What is porcelain paving, how is it manufactured, and what distinguishes vitrified porcelain paving?

Porcelain paving is a ceramic that is heated at a very high temperature in a kiln, resulting in a superior product that is more durable and easier to colour throughout the tile.

Vitrified porcelain paving is made from an extremely pure mineral and clay composition, including kaolin clay, quartz, and feldspar. The slabs are then fired at 1200 degrees Celsius, making it  much more durable than ordinary porcelain. It has an extremely low absorption rate of 0.5% compared to a normal ceramic tile absorption rate of 3%-10%.

All our porcelain paving products are vitrified, though we use “porcelain paving” to make the terminology easier to understand.
